By entering the premises you are agreeing to our house policies. These policies apply to our indoor and outdoor sitting areas.
General
Sandbar Yamba will be abiding by the Government regulations. The client acknowledges the rules and regulations in place by the Government.
Sandbar Yamba and its employees will at all times comply with the state licensing laws and the responsible service of alcohol Act.
We do not allow BYO alcohol.
A 10% surcharge will apply on Weekends and a 15% surcharge will apply on all Public Holidays.
Unaccompanied minors under the age of 18 are not permitted within our restaurant. A parent or guardian must be present at the table at all times. Minors under the age of 18 need to be supervised by a parent or legal guardian at all times. Sandbar Yamba will not be liable for any injuries resulting from negligent supervision. Tables of unaccompanied minors will be refused entry and a cancellation fee may apply.
Please be aware that Sandbar Yamba does not possess high chairs. Prams cannot be accommodated within the restaurant, due to thoroughfare requirements. If you need to bring a pram to your booking, we strongly encourage an outdoor booking or please call ahead for advice.
The dresscode is smart-casual. Shirts and shoes are required to be worn at all times. We reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone not respecting the dresscode. Patrons in wet swimwear will be refused entry in our indoor and outdoor space. Sandbar Yamba will not be liable for any injuries resulting in not wearing shoes in the premises.
Whilst all reasonable efforts are taken to accommodate dietary needs, we cannot guarantee that our food is allergen free and the decision to consume a meal is the responsibility of the diner.
The client is liable for the actions of their guests and party, any property damages or losses incurred resulting in a cost to Sandbar Yamba will be directly charged to the client.
Booking policy
We will endeavour to cater for seating requests, however these cannot be guaranteed.
Our outdoor dining is weather dependant and closes at 9.45pm sharp. All patrons must vacate the premises by 10pm the latest.
For all reservations on or before 6.00pm you will be allocated a standard 2 hour sitting time from the time of booking.
Your reservation will be held 15 minutes past booking time, after such time, with no prior notice you may lose your booking.
Bookings of 9 or more will be required to secure their booking with a set menu and a deposit. For all bookings of 9 or more, please use the Group Booking Form available on our website.
Cancellation policy
Due to the unfortunate growing trend of late cancellations and 'no shows' we now require CC details to secure your booking.
Thank you for your understanding at this time.
Cancellations or reductions in numbers within 24 hours or 'no shows' will be charged a $30 fee per person.
We do not take bookings for drinks/snacks only, all guests included in the booking (kids included) will need to order at least a main meal from the menu. Unfortunately, failure to do so will be considered a no-show for your restaurant booking and will be charged accordingly.
Gift Vouchers
We only accept vouchers issued on sandbaryamba.com.au after the 14th of July 2021.
Vouchers are not redeemable for cash. They are valid for a period of 3 years after the date of issue.
The voucher must be printed and presented at the restaurant in person.
The voucher is only redeemable in one visit.
Bookings mentioning the number of the voucher to be redeemed are essential.
Our vouchers are not valid during periods where the restaurant is open for take-away only.
